For techies
The system I use is based around a Tascam DM24 digital desk running 24 buses in/out via firewire to a custom built PC running Samplitude Professional and Pro Tools. I have a particularly nice stock of microphones featuring a Soundfield SPS422 B , a Neumann M147 and various microphones by Rode and Earthworks. Monitoring is taken care of by a pair of Alesis M1 Mk2 monitors and all signal processing is run by a Universal Audio UAD-1 DSP card.

The studio comes to you! Record at a location of your choice, or have your live performance recorded to multitrack at a folk club, festival or other venue to produce a 'live' CD.
